AIHA Indiana Local Section invites you to join us for a site visit to the 53rd Civil Support Team (CST), a local military unit specializing in unknown substance and CBRNE domestic response. This visit offers an opportunity to learn about the CST’s operations and the advanced technologies they employ.
You’ll receive a tour of the team’s field detection equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and their mobile laboratory. Our host, David Crouch, a local member and Certified Industrial Hygienist, will explain each component and its real-world applications. Additionally, there will be opportunities for hands-on interaction with some of the equipment.
This visit will provide valuable insights into the cross section of emergency response and industrial hygiene. After the tour, we invite all attendees to join us at Guggman Haus Brewing Co. to grab a bite to eat or drink and continue to mingle with other local section members.
