Flood Mitigation and Mold Remediation Techniques

Hosted by:

Midwest Remediation

Speaker: Chris Dunn

Meeting Summary:

Flooding and water losses are unfortunate things that many companies will eventually have to deal with. When the water loss leads to mold growth, a knowledgeable industrial hygienist/safety professional needs to be able to give guidance on the proper methods for mold removal, as well as appease the common concerns arising from sensationalized news stories of "Toxic Mold".

Please join us as we hear from Chris Dunn, the mold remediation manager at Midwest Remediation. His presentation will cover the basics of mold, the proper remediation techniques, and examples of the tougher remediation projects he has faced. After the presentation, attendees will get a tour of the Midwest facility where they have built a home indoors that they flood on a regular basis to teach classes the most efficient methods of building dry-outs.

Dinner will be provided by Midwest Remediation.
